Vendor Guide
Everything you need to set up and run your store on LetuSell.
Getting Started
Apply as a vendor
Go to letusell.ng/vendors/apply and fill in your brand details. You'll choose your vendor type: Student (requires matric card + course registration form) or Business (requires CAC certificate, NIN, and RC number).
Wait for review
The LetuSell team reviews applications within 24 hours. You'll get an email once your account is approved or if anything is missing.
Log in to your dashboard
After approval, head to letusell.ng/dashboard/vendor. You'll land on the Overview page — this is your control centre.
First-time vendors: your dashboard will prompt you to complete verification before going live. Don't skip this — it unlocks your public storefront.
Setting Up Your Store
Open Settings
From the dashboard sidebar, click Settings. This is where all your store profile information lives.
Fill in your store details
Enter your store name, a short description, and pick your category (food, fashion, beauty, gadgets, etc.).
Upload a cover image
Recommended size: 1200 × 400px. Use a clear, high-quality photo of your products or brand. This is the first thing customers see on your storefront.
Add your WhatsApp number
Customers use this to coordinate delivery logistics and any other matters. Enter your number in international format (e.g. +2348012345678).
Save
Your store profile is live and visible to customers on the vendors page.
Adding Products
Go to Products in the sidebar, then click Add product.
Name & Price
Enter the price in naira (e.g. 2500). LetuSell handles currency display automatically.
Description
Be specific — size, flavour, material, quantity. Good descriptions answer questions before customers ask them.
Images
Upload product photos. Bright, clean backgrounds convert best. You can add multiple angles.
Category
Assign to a category so customers can find it when filtering your store.
Stock quantity
Set the number of units available. When it hits 0, the product is hidden automatically.
Modifiers
Add size or variation options (Small / Medium / Large) with optional price adjustments per option.
Products with photos sell significantly more than those without. Always add at least one image before going live.
Managing Orders
Go to Orders in the sidebar. Orders move through three stages — advance each one as you fulfil it.
Pending
A new order has arrived. A sound plays and the card appears. Review it and confirm quickly — customers are waiting.
Confirmed
You've accepted the order. The customer is notified. Use WhatsApp to coordinate delivery with them.
Completed
Delivery is done. Tick the order as completed to close it out.
You cannot skip stages. Moving an order forward triggers a notification to the customer.
Payments & Earnings
You earn the full amount
The price you set is exactly what you receive — your listed price is never reduced.
Add your bank account
Go to Settings → Payouts and enter your bank account details. You only need to do this once.
According to Paystack's terms, payouts are scheduled within 1 business day of a completed transaction.
Store Controls
Open / Closed
Toggle your store open or closed instantly from the dashboard overview. Closed stores don't accept new orders.
Special Closures
Schedule a closure window in advance — useful for exam periods, restocking days, or planned breaks.
Labels
Tag your storefront with labels like 'Trending' or 'New Vendor'. Labels appear on your public profile and on the vendor listing.
Tips for Success
Use bright product photos
Shoot in natural light against a clean background. Customers can't touch your product — the photo is everything.
Keep stock accurate
Set stock to 0 when you're out. Overselling damages your reputation and creates awkward cancellations.
Honour your hours
If your dashboard says you're open, customers expect to order. Toggle closed when you're unavailable.
Write complete descriptions
Spell out size, colour, flavour, quantity — whatever customers would ask. Good copy cuts support messages in half.
