Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and LetuSell Marketplace ("LetuSell", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the LetuSell website, marketplace, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

LetuSell is a campus marketplace that connects university students with student-run and local vendors. We provide the technology that lets vendors list products, and lets buyers discover, order, pay for, and arrange pickup of those products on campus.

LetuSell is a marketplace facilitator, not the seller of vendor products. Each vendor is responsible for the items it lists, their quality, accuracy, and fulfilment. LetuSell is owned and operated by LetuSell Marketplace, a business registered in Nigeria.

The Platform is intended for university students and is designed for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you may use LetuSell only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Platform you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

You can browse and order as a guest, or create a free account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or pose a risk to other users or vendors.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected items from the vendor. An order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and the vendor receives it.

Each order is placed with a single vendor. After payment, you will receive a confirmation with the vendor's contact details and a pickup time. You are responsible for collecting your order at the agreed time and location on campus. Vendors set their own preparation and pickup windows.

Estimated pickup times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed and may vary based on vendor capacity and demand.

If an order is not fulfilled, the items are unavailable, or there is a problem with what you received, you may request a refund from your order page or by contacting us with your order ID.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack. Refund timelines depend on Paystack and your bank. Refund eligibility for prepared food and perishable items may be limited and is assessed case by case in coordination with the vendor.

Vendors apply to list on LetuSell and are approved at our discretion. By listing, a vendor agrees to:

• Provide accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
• Fulfil confirmed orders promptly and honour stated pickup times.
• Sell only lawful goods they are entitled to sell, and comply with applicable laws and campus rules.
• Maintain valid payout details and accept the applicable platform fee on each sale.

We may remove listings or suspend vendors that breach these Terms, receive repeated complaints, or harm the trust of the marketplace.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, or place fraudulent or fake orders or reviews.
• Misuse another user's or vendor's information, or impersonate any person or entity.

Verified buyers may leave reviews of vendors. Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine order. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant LetuSell a licence to display it on the Platform. We may remove reviews or content that are abusive, misleading, or violate these Terms.

Registered users may earn loyalty points on eligible purchases. Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be adjusted or expire. We may change or discontinue the loyalty programme at any time.

The LetuSell name, logo, design, and software are owned by LetuSell Marketplace and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, or reuse them without our written permission. Vendor brand names and product images remain the property of their respective owners.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep LetuSell reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

As a marketplace facilitator, LetuSell is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by vendors, or for a vendor's failure to fulfil an order. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetuSell's total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as payment, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when we add features or when the law changes. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify registered users. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
